If I’m expecting a package and will not be there to sign for it, can I have it rerouted to your store?

The best thing to do is to take advantage of our package holding service.

When placing an order online or having the package shipped, use OUR address instead of your address as the SHIP TO address. Email the tracking # of your package to Andrew@inboxandmore.com when you find out. When the package arrives, we will contact you to pick it up. We only charge $2.50 per package (up to 50 lbs) for this service and we will hold it for you up to 1 week complimentary or can arrange a longer holding time for an additional service charge. You do not have to worry about safety, signature or weather! We are insured for this service too!

Are you more expensive than the UPS Store in Deerfield?

Actually, our shipping prices are typically lower than the UPS store, for both shipping and boxes. So, you save time and money by shipping with us!

If I have a prepaid label on a package, can I bring it to you and drop it off with no additional charge?

Yes, you certainly can! We do NOT charge for any prepaid drop-off packages.

Are you able to look up a zip code?

Yes, we can look up a zip code for you using our USPS database access.

Do you sell stamps?

Yes. We offer U.S. Postal Service stamps and other mail services. We do NOT carry any international or postcard stamps.

Can I get documents notarized at your location?

Yes, we charge a minimal service fee to notarize all documents. On occasion we do not have enough staff to provide the witness element of notary, so please call ahead and in the event we do not have additional staff bringing along a friend or family member fills the need.

Do you pack?

Yes, we have a very special and exclusive packing service. We pride ourselves on our packaging expertise, allowing you to ship items before your flight or your move from one city to another. We will size up your shipment and recommend the most appropriate packaging method to protect the value of your shipment, the best carrier for delivering it on time and a solution that fits within your budget. We're the Pack & Ship experts here to help make this process as easy for you as possible!


Do you offer pickup and delivery services?

Yes, for an additional fee I offer pickup and delivery service within a 5-mile radius of my store. This service requires scheduling ahead and may not always be available same day as the request., but I will try to work with your needs as best as my schedule allows.


What is dimensional weight and how does it affect the price of shipping?

Example – if you have a box that weighs 28 pounds and the dimensions are 18” x 18” x 18”, then according to the dimensional weight formula that is used by both FedEx & UPS, the dimensional weight would be 35 pounds and you would pay for 35 pounds.


What do I need in order to insure a package?


  • In order to insure your package it needs to either be properly packaged by yourself and inspected by an associate at Inbox & More Pack and Ship or packaged by an associate at the store.


  • In order to receive payment out for a damaged package you must have a receipt showing the value paid for the item to submit to the insurance company and it will be up to the insurance companies’ discretion whether or not to pay for the reported damage.

Ship Before Flight

How can I ship my bags directly to my hotel before my vacation?

Simply drop off your bags along with the address of your hotel. We’ll take care of shipping them direct to your hotel.

Private Mailboxes

What is the difference between a private mailbox at Island Ship Center and a PO Box at the US Post Office?

With a mailbox at Inbox & More Pack and Ship, you get a real street address, not a P.O. Box number.

If you’re a business owner, having a real street address as your mailbox can provide you with a professional image for your business. Inbox & More Pack and Ship also offers many additional services that the post office does not, such as package acceptance from all carriers, package notification via email and call in service, all aimed to save you valuable time. Plus, with the rise of identity theft, you now don’t have to expose your home address as your physical address online; you can always use your private mailbox address from Inbox & More Pack and Ship.

What mailbox sizes do you offer?

Inbox & More Pack and Ship offers various mailboxes sizes for various needs: personal, business and corporate sizes.

How do I open a mailbox?

Please come in the store to complete an application or to discuss the steps to opening a mailbox. You will need to provide two valid forms of identification, one of which must include a photograph.

What is the minimum term of the rental agreement?

Three months is the minimum mailbox service period; and we offer 6 month and annual rental terms as well.

Can I receive packages in my mailbox from other carriers?

With your mailbox agreement, you can receive packages from any carrier, including. FedEx, UPS, USPS and DHL. You can receive up to 4 packages per month without any charge. After the 4th package, we will charge $2 per package received.

Can you hold my mail if I’m away?

Yes. we can hold your mail for you until you return from a long business trip or a relaxing vacation.

We ask that you pick up your mail on a regular basis; please let us know if you will be away.

We also offer a mail forwarding service for our snowbirds and those leaving for extended periods of time.


Can I call to check if I have mail?

When can I pick up my mail?

Mailbox holders may have 24-hour access to their box with their 24-hour keyless entry access, which is offered as an additional service when setting up a new mailbox.

Can other people receive mail at my mailbox?

You can add the names of up to 5 individuals/businesses authorized to receive mail at your mailbox. Each recipient will need to provide two valid forms of identification in order to complete the mandatory PS Form 1583. Each add-on pays a $5.00 set up fee. You can permit people to pick up your mail by lending them the key to your mailbox. Possession of the mailbox key shall be considered valid evidence that the possessor of the key is duly authorized to remove any contents from the mailbox. We cannot hand out mail to anyone not listed as the owner of the box.

Do you offer other USPS products?

Yes. In addition to postage stamps, Island Ship Center also offers domestic and international services including Priority Mail®, Express Mail®, Parcel Select Ground®, First Class®, Delivery Confirmation™, Certified Mail and Return Receipt. 

Can you explain your mail forwarding service please?

Our mail forwarding service ensures that you receive only the packages and letters you really want. You simply choose which items you want, where and when you want them sent, and we’ll forward them on to you at any destination in the world! You can choose the service level of forwarding from First Class, Priority Mail, Priority Express, UPS, FedEx and DHL. The cost for forwarding is $5.00 plus the cost of our regular shipping rates for the service requested. This is a great service for snowbirds, RVer’s, students, military personnel, frequent travelers and those living overseas for extended periods of time.

How do I know when I receive mail?

We have added a new service that will email you when new 1st class mail arrives for you. This additional feature is available for $10.00 per month. Alternatively, you can call or email us any time and we’ll let you know for free if mail is in your box or not, thereby saving you a trip.

What sets you apart from other packing and shipping locations?

I have been open in the Bannockburn Green shopping center since Fall 2014 and enjoy servicing the North Shore in all their packing and shipping needs.

I pride myself on customer service and make it my job to know return customers by name. I always try to tailor what my store offers to the needs of the community and if I am unable to provide a service I work to fins a referral that can meet my clients need.
